Everyone needs a break from their hectic routine of work. That is why weekends are most important to enjoy a much needed break from our work.
However, we worked so hard on our weekdays that at the time of weekends; we fell short of enjoying it to the fullest. Because, work tends to occupy most of our mind and often we take that with us even on our weekends.
There is a concept going on to work 24/7, hustle all day long. But, refreshing your mind as well as body is as important as your work. Because, taking days off and refreshing your body and mind aid you in achieving your goal more efficiently.

Energetic activities do not always mean hitting a gym or running a mile to achieve your fitness goals. Rather, doing some fun activities in a playful manner.
It could be playing football or dancing with friends. You can even go surfing, hiking or something. Any activity which involves some rigorousness or raising your heart rate will not only be fun to do but also healthy.
It is easy to get beneath the burden of your work. It makes you tiresome and annoying. Therefore, spend some time preferably alone to reflect on your goals which can be related to spirituality or relationship or life. It is great to think about where you are and where you want to be and what steps to take in achieving your goal.

How About Mini Trips
Maybe weekends are not enough for your vacation. However, you can plan out mini trips with your friends and family or even alone. Mini trips can be somewhere going to your relatives or somewhere enjoyable like parks, fun lands or even countryside.
Go where your heart takes you to as it’s you who matters! Try a place where you have never visited before!

Weekend is the best time to do some planning about almost anything. You can plan your whole next week or plan your vacation or even plan about doing your next big step. It not only makes you creative and improves your imagination but also gets you organized.
Planning is basically not only a fun activity to do but also productive. Especially for the workaholic people, as it allows them to get organized and efficient even in their work.
Normally, work makes us isolated and tends to put us in awkward situations. Therefore, instead of just communicating with your friends over a phone call or WhatsApp. It is great and fun to go an old-school way and plan a meet-up. You can enjoy a night-over or even plan a meet-up at some café or pub. But the important thing is to meet with your friends or relatives face to face.
Not to mention, it is also important to avoid toxic people. Your social circle should be encouraging and inspiring. It will help you to enjoy your social circle more and helps you in creating a strong network.
Eating and spending some quality time with friends and family really matters as it’s the only thing that you are going to endure!
It is very important for you to spend some time alone. It should not be like sitting all day on a couch or lying on a bed. Rather, to make it more productive and fruitful, you can do some spiritual stuff like yoga, meditation, Qi-gong or prayer to restore yourself spiritually and mentally.
Because, hectic work makes us lazy and dull. It is important to enjoy the “Me” time alone to restart yourself in a refreshing way. You can also reflect on yourself or on your work or on your relationships. “Me” time should be relaxing and stress releasing to kick start your Monday morning rejuvenating.
Get yourself a Hobby
It is the most fun activity to do to refresh yourself on the weekend. You can find yourself a great hobby to do over a weekend. It can be gardening, writing a story, reading a book, painting or even cooking.
All of these are productive hobbies to do over a weekend to help yourself grow at your work as well as personally.

Screen time isn’t much a healthy thing so you should be taking some time out from that and rather focus on may be reading a book, going on trip as mentioned above or I would suggest that its better to have any outdoor activity!
You can do anything, Right?
No matter whatever you do, you just cannot take lead and plan for everything you think! So just make a to-do list pull off everything that’s in your control only, you really cannot control everything! So Don’t even try!
Just need to prioritize the things in your life that really need to be done. so just Put the most important tasks at the top of your to do list and the least important ones at the bottom. You really need to Commit to getting no more than 3 of those tasks done on any given weekend and please do not get disappointed if you cannot do all the things!
Weekends are the best deal for your self-care. Especially when you are a woman. You can go out to parlor with your friends or alone. Get a facial massage or mani-pedi cure.
Believe it or not, you will feel lucky and glad after doing that. It will make you relax and you get yourself a beauty touch. You can even do all of these at home.
Don’t Think About Work or Monday:
Believe me, that is the last thing you can do to ruin your weekend. On weekends, your mind should be empty of all of this hectic work routine. All of your meetings, deadlines or targets should not get you overwhelmed.
Thinking too much about your work will eventually create anxiety and put you in the position ruin your weekend. So, don’t think about Monday or what will happen on Monday and how am I going to meet targets and all. This should not be in your mind to pass a relaxing weekend.
House Cleaning and Get Organized:
It is the best thing to do on the weekend for maximum productivity. It is essential for productivity to clean-up the piles and de-clutter your house. You can clean your house with your family for fun.
It includes cleaning your house, doing the dishes, laundry, washing your car, washing your pet, putting things on back at their places and enjoying being organized.
Decluttering your house is also a good idea if you are living in an apartment or a small house.
Learn a New Skill:
You can even learn a new skill or groom yourself for your career growth. And, this skill does not have to be your work related. It can be any skill like designing, learning piano, new exercise for your fitness or anything. Imr
